Student Organizations

See a list of student organizations in the Guide to Student Organizations. The office of student engagement maintains this information.

• Recognized
  Recognized student organizations are those organizations registered with the Office of Student Activities and approved by the Student Government Association.
• Sponsored
  Sponsored student organizations are recognized student organizations advised by a University employee as part of that employee's job description and funded in some way through University funds. Examples include Student Government Association, Student Activities Council, and Residence Hall Association.

University Organizations

• Bona Fide
  Bona fide University organizations are those organizations approved by the University Organization Review Committee.
• Sponsored
  Sponsored University organizations are bona fide organizations that represent the University, such as Faculty Senate and Staff Senate.
