The Chess Club at Missouri State University is open to all students, faculty/staff and anyone in the Springfield community who would like to play chess. The Chess Club meets every Monday evening from 7-10 p.m. in the Plaster Student Union in Room 317-A. There is no membership fee required to belong to The Chess Club, only a desire to play chess.

Because it is challenging and demands the perfection of certain human faculties, the
exercise and apprehension of which, are beautiful. There is no other answer.
